Joint WoBCRC and Brotherhood Axe Throwing Event

5:00 PM - 7:00 PMAxes and Os, 21680 Ridgetop Circle, Sterling VAThe BCRC Brotherhood and Women of BCRC have decided to ‘bury the hatchet’ and hold a joint axe throwing event at Axes and Os. Axe throwing is an exciting sport that consists of throwing lightweight hatchets (approximately 2 lbs) at targets with different scoring rings. It is actually safer than bowling! Axe throwing sessions are 90 minutes in length and include a dedicated axe coach that goes over safety, instructs on how to properly throw axes, explains scoring and rules, introduces fun games to play and perhaps most importantly also acts as a server to take your food and drink orders. Announcing Sanctuary & Social Renewal Sprint 2
Our goal is to raise $50,000 by June 30 to build a spiritual Jerusalem stone wall backdrop integrated with the bimah, with recessed lighting and built-in space for a permanent ark.We plan to have the sanctuary construction done during the summer so that we can be ready for the High Holy Days. We thank everyone who has donated to our earlier phase.
Above you can see a rendering of these exciting plans (place holders for ark and furniture).
