On May 9, BCRC held a dedication of a Tree of Life Leaf in memory of Leslie Skaer, donated by the BCRC Board of Directors, immediately followed by the dedication of the Ner Tamid (Eternal Light) donated by Julia and Gabe Schneider and family in memory of Julia's mother, Leonora Pekarsky, and created by BCRC member and glass artist Nadine Schneider. UAA Questionnaire to Candidates
United Against Antisemitism (UAA), a grass roots organization based in the Washington D.C. area, created a questionnaire on how candidates seeking to run in our Congressional District, and for the US Senate seat for Virginia would respond to the rise of antisemitism we are witnessing.
This is a non-partisan effort, and the questionnaire was sent to all candidates (Democrats and Republicans) running in the primaries for the 10th Congressional District, the seat currently held by Jennifer Wexton who is not running for re-election.
