UAA Questionnaire to Candidates

United Against Antisemitism (UAA), a grassroots organization based in the Washington D.C. area, created a questionnaire on how candidates seeking to run in our Congressional District, and for the US Senate seat for Virginia would respond to the rise of antisemitism we are witnessing.

This is a non-partisan effort, and the questionnaire was sent to all candidates (Democrats and Republicans) running in the primaries for the 10th Congressional District, the seat currently held by Jennifer Wexton who is not running for re-election.

The questionnaire was also sent to all Republican candidates running in the primary for the US Senate Seat currently held by Tim Kaine. The questionnaire was also sent to Senator Kaine.

Primary early voting begins May 2nd with the actual voting at precincts to be held Tuesday, June 18th. Virginia is an open primary state so anyone can vote in any primary.

In this time of increasing antisemitism and anti-Israel rhetoric, the UAA felt it is important to inform voters as to how our future representatives and Senator will support the Jewish community and to help provide more information in your decision making on voting.
