Helper Family Signup

After a lengthy absence due to the pandemic, BCRC is bringing back the Helper Family program for Friday Erev Shabbat services! Beginning Jan 1 2023, we will provide families with the opportunity to voluntarily choose a date (or dates) to perform this important mitzvah. Your presence, in and of itself, is a blessing to this congregation. Every year, once or twice, we encourage you to volunteer as a helper family. As a helper family you perform the mitzvah of helping to set up before and clean up after a service. You will also be asked to bring an item to contribute to the Oneg Shabbat, which will also be making a welcome return! Please accept this communal responsibility. It is a real mitzvah we perform on behalf of one another.
